On Hiatus

Time is a precious and limited resource and of late there have been way too many things that really need my time and attention and not enough of that to go around.  I need to adjust some priorities.

Family is number one and my wife and kids really need as much time and attention as I can give them.  Work is pretty important too as it keeps the lights on, the bills paid and the pantry stocked.  Some things have to get cut and the time spent on this blog is one of those.

It is with a heavy heart that I am putting Backroads Buddha on hiatus.  Hopefully, one day I will have the time to get back to this.  Hopefully, the challenges we are facing will be short lived and I will get more time for riding and writing about riding.

In the meantime, keep us in your prayers as many of you are in ours.

God Bless You

  2. Circumstances change and our efforts and attention need to be refocused on occasion as a result. We'll miss you here, but totally understand and wish you all the best. And when you're ready to come back, we'll still be here.

Here's wishing you and yours a very happy and prosperous 2012.

  4. Dear Shannon:

You were the first son I ever had. Don't let reality get the upper hand. It's a bitch getting it back. Drop me a line when you start riding and writing again.

    Happy New Year.

    Fondest regards,

  5. I totally understand. I've been so close myself so many times lately. Instead I post about once a month. I'll keep the bookmark. Good wishes to you.
