Yes, it is true, the
MotoGP circus is coming to town...well, the state anyway. The newly named
Circuit of the Americas located outside of Austin, Texas will not only begin hosting Formula 1 in 2013 when it opens but has also scored a round of the MotoGP series as well. The ten year deal brings the likes of Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Ben Spies, Colin Edwards and company to the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Former World Champion (1993), and native Texan Kevin Schwantz was a key player in bringing the MotoGP to Texas for the first time ever.

Supporting classes (Moto2 and Moto3) are also on the calendar for those dates.
I'll be there and unlike my trip to Indy this year, I'll be riding there.
