H-D Announces the 2011 Blackline
Sometime in the last week or so The Motor Company took the wraps off their newest model, the Blackline.
Once again, this is a bike I should like...and I find myself really not impressed.
H-D rolled out the Dark Custom line of bikes a few years ago and, up until now, there hasn't been one I haven't liked. In fact, I would love to own any and all of the Dark Customs but the Blackline doesn't make the cut. At least not based on the pictures. I haven't seen one in person yet.
Now, some of this could be based on the general level of exhaustion that comes with working back to back 80-100 hour weeks. That is possible and maybe even probable but I'd take a stock Dyna over this guy any day and save the extra cash to trick it out myself.
I think I would do a better job.

ReplyDeleteFor all the same reasons I stated in the previous post, I feel the same way. However, I'd like the "Blackline" more with blacked exhausts, air filter, and forks. Addng a little color made it less appealing to me.

I had a chance to check one out at the dealer this week and it does look better in person than in pictures but still leaves me yawning. Yesterday's announcement...now that's a different story and a different post.
